Dr. Perry Mayer is the Medical Director of The Mayer Institute (TMI), the first centre of excellence in Ontario that specializes in advanced diabetic foot and wound care.

Dr.Perry Mayer obtained an honours, Bachelor of Science degree from Queens University in Kingston and received his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. He completed his family medicine residency in Akron, Ohio and thereafter accepted a 1 year position as the acting Director of the Queen’s/Moose Factory Family Medicine Programme in Moose Factory, Northern Ontario. Originally from Kingston, Dr. Mayer makes his home in Hamilton with his wife and 2 daughters.
